I completed my Ph.D degree in 2002 at Duke University, Department of Mathematics. I graduated in 1997 from "Al I. Cuza University", Iasi, Romania with a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics. From 2002-2005, I was a postdoctoral fellow at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. My research interest lies in the field of differential geometry, in particular calibrated geometry.
