Visiting Assistant Professor FY 2008-2009

Applications are invited for a number of one-year, non-tenure track visiting assistant professor positions beginning August 18, 2008 pending budgetary approval. Applicants must demonstrate or show strong promise in teaching and research with preference given to those having research areas of interest to the Department. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or have Ph.D. expected by August in mathematics. Teaching load is a maximum of 12 credit hours per semester depending on duties.

Lecturer

Applications are invited for a lecturer position in mathematics beginning Fall 2008 with the responsibility for teaching developmental and introductory level undergraduate mathematics. The position is a full time continuing appointment contingent on satisfactory performance and instructional need. Applications should have a graduate degree in mathematics or related areas, and have prior teaching experience. Of particular interest are applicants with experience and/or interest in supporting the Department's developmental math program.
