How is Math Summer Camp Run?

The three different summer camps are: 1) elementary algebra; 2) college algebra; and 3) trigonometry. The appropriate camp is based on your placement scores and the math courses required for your plan of study.

The Math Camp will be offered in the distance learning format over the Internet with access to an instructor. The Camp will utilize interactive course material via software through the Internet.

To access this material you will need a PC or a Mac where several small plug-ins need to be downloaded and installed. You will do your assignments online and get help from your instructor via virtual office hours, email or phone (419.530.2568).

Tutoring: For students who live within driving distance of the University tutoring will be available on campus weekdays. Online tutoring will also be available.

Retaking of Placement Test: Upon successful completion of the required work, you will be able to take a new placement test. This must be done on campus by August 21 at 3 p.m.

You will be allowed to re-register in courses as indicated by your new placement scores.
